The name of this is Te Rangianiwaniwa O Te Tumanako (The Rainbow of Hope) This piece is made with 4 different colours

Parahuhu is the Māori word for fibers, you would find this in the bottom part of a flax leaf which is called “The Take” in the Te Reo Māori language.

Designed with whale tail mawhitiwhiti, which is the pattern you can see woven into the piece.

Comes inside the frame as pictured.
